Thinking about Spring Break yet?

It's not too early to plan where you will go on mission for Spring Break. In fact it's a great time.  Planning now gives you an opportunity to invite new students to join you in the journey of preparing to go on mission, and it's something students can get excited about even now.

If you've not planned a Spring Break trip before, this would be a great year to start.
Your church could be a part of

Texas Week in NYC

The NYC Metro area is the most diverse place on the planet!  With over 800 languages spoken in the area, students no longer need a passport to engage the nations. Your Metrocard will give you access to people from across the globe. Texas BSM’s and church collegegroups are invited to join the Metropolitan New York Baptist Association in reaching the nations during Spring Breaks 2017 & 2018.

Ministry this Spring Break will focus on Jackson Heights, which has a concentrated population of people groups from South Asia (Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Nepal and Tibet.)  Teams will be trained in sharing their faith with these people groups and participate in outreach events and evangelistic visits.

Ministry next Spring Break will continue in the Jackson Heights area but also expand to include opportunity to come alongside pastors, churchplanters, and ministry leaders who work in justice ministry, unreached people group engagement, church planting, ethnic ministry, and more!  Training, evangelism and outreach will be the focus.

Brenda Sanders, Go Now Missions Consultant, will be planning a Vision Trip for interested BSM staff and church college ministers seriously interested in participating in Texas Week in NYC.

There are several other mission possibilities available to your church, including Beach Reach,Texas Baptist Disaster Recovery, and River Ministry. We will be happy to help your church get started planning now!
