Dates:     May 31-June 6, 2013
                 June 7-13, 2013
Where:  Houston, TX
Who:  Team of 10-12 for each week.
What:    Armed with information from the city’s top leaders and the vision of local Christian leaders, the Loving Houston Project aims to bless the nation’s fourth largest city in ways that include meeting physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Planned to parallel the annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention, this project is both locally driven and national in its scope. What this means is that if you are a part of this team, you will have the opportunity to work hand in hand with people from across the United States. Assist with sports outreach events. Help build a home. Pass out food or minister to children in a part of the city where hope is a rare commodity. You may even have a chance to minister to those who come to the city to be a part of the annual SBC meeting.
We think these projects would be great mission trip opportunities for your church college group! Would you pray about the possiblity of your group participating?

Cost:  $100 per person (housing, meals & insurance).

$30 local volunteer (evening meal & insurance).

Participants provide own transportation.
