Next week is Engage24

Whether or not your church is planning to be a part of the Engage24 emphasis next week, now is the perfect time to engage the 1.4 million college students in Texas with the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Here's Billy's story:

There are several things I love about Billy's story.

An Invitation.  Billy's story all started with his sister's story.  A girl invited her to go to camp (relentlessly).  A simple invitation for her to attend an event where she could hear the Gospel.
A  Story.  Billy's sister shared her own experience of being changed by the Gospel at camp.  Her story planted a seed in Billy's life.
A Prayer.   After sharing her story, Billy's sister continued to pray that God would send someone to share the truth with Billy.
A Testimony.   Will spoke up in class and testified about what he knew to be true about Jesus in class.  God used his boldness to speak out about his faith in front of his peers to help Billy come to faith in Jesus.

Each one of these things was a way that someone engaged Billy with the Gospel.  Sometimes we make sharing Jesus with others seem so hard when it is so simple.  Encourage your students this week to share their faith with a friend or a family member in one of these simple ways.  Maybe someone new will have a story to tell.
