Capacity: The capacity of the lodgign facility is 100

Lodging: The lodging facility is Zion Lutheran
Church on Staten Island. We have set up a tent city that will have large

linens for both bedding and shower facility. Due to the size of the cot, twin

First Aid: Student/groups need
to provide their own first aid kits.
Worksites: Due to the nature of
Disaster Relief we are unable to give specific work assignments at this time.
Primarily all groups will be doing mud out and recovery. Each participant needs
to bring the following items: - warm work clothes that will get dirty -

gloves - water proof rubber boots - a pair of inexpensive safety
glasses
These items are not required but are suggested due to weather
conditions: - hat - scarf - gloves

the responsibility of the group leader to contact their State Disaster Relief
director to provide Unit Directors for the response. There needs to be a ratio
of 1 unit director for every 10 students that are
participating.

at namb.net/dr. Video and training manual need to be viewed and read prior to
arrival. Further information will be sent after
registration.

Island, NY and the Zion Lutheran Church is at the expense of the
group/individual. This includes transportation to and from the worksites.
Parking is limited onsite and it is recommended nothing larger than a 15

Peugh at 404-432-3067 prior to registration, as special considerations will need
to be made.
